Kramer 0 #1 April 11, 2004 It's about time this guy won a major. He made a very clutch birdie putt on the 18th hole to avoid having a playoff with Ernie Els (who finished 2nd). Finishing at -9, this is Phil's first major championship victory in 47 tries. Congrats Phil. Been a long time coming for this guy. The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!! nbblood 0 #2 April 11, 2004 Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad he finally did it! I've always liked Phil Mickelson and thought the press were giving him an awful hard time. Maybe he'll play better now without all those monkeys on his back! Not that he didn't play well with them. I hope the Phil/Tiger rivalry heats up. It will make things interesting. I like em both. Glipazide 0 #3 April 11, 2004 Awesome match.. Phil always plays with a smile, great attitude, and thats the guys I like to see win. Good thing he got to see DeMarco or whoever it was shoot before him so he could read the shot better. Tiger was way off.. Sergio.. was like what 7th place? He needs a major win..http://sexygirlabs.com/url]

brits17 0 #5 April 12, 2004 Ya but did you see Sergio's blazing final round? What like a 66 to finish it off? That was a pretty killer comeback considering. And as I replied to my initial "emotional masters" thread, I'm absolutely STOKED phil won it. finishing 3rd in his last 3 masters tournaments, plus being so close in several other majors, i'm so glad he finally won. YAY for my fellow lefty _______________________ aerialkinetics.com
TheBachelor 5 #6 April 13, 2004 I'm glad that Mickelson won, and I'm happy that he went out, performed in the clutch and WON it -- nobody collapsed so he could back into it. I watched some of the interviews with him afterwards, and he was great. Someone asked him if golf "owed him" this win because of all he's been through. Phil just said "I'm just happy that I can be playing this game for a living. Golf doesn't owe me anything."There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years... Rebecca 0 #7 April 13, 2004 I'm also really happy he won. According to my pops (ret. USAF Combat Control), for every birdie Mickelson shot, he donated something like $1,000 to the Special Ops Warrior Foundation, which awards scholarships to the children of fallen SpecOps soldiers. Right on, Phil! you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
