The Baseball shot was with the same film but with my 70-300 f4.5-5.6 telephoto. Viking 0 #13 April 13, 2004 No Sadly Its a cheap Tamron i bought back in 99, I wanna get the new 80-400 VR lens that came out. I have the 24-120mm VR lens and it ROCKS!!!!! I dunno how many at bat shots i did, i was shooting for the school paper so i was trying to get that perfect upclose shot of the bat making contact with the ball. I was gonna get a N90s before i found my F100 VERY slightly used for $560 I'll post more baseball stuff when i get my other two roles of film back from the paper. Funny thing was, it was in a joint batting/fielding practice with another team and I was pitching to their pitcher. He kept smoking 'em at me and I kept telling him to knock it off, cuz our mound is stinkin' close to home and, well, it was *just practice*! He said he'd stop hitting 'em up the middle then beaned me on his next to last pitch with a line shot that I just couldn't get out of the way of. I went and had a beer, and told my team I'd get him back with the last pitch he threw to me. I got up to bat and sprayed some around for fielding practice, then his catcher tried to run me off with one pitch left. I protested with a "no, I've got one more pitch coming" so everyone knew what was up, and I still tagged him right in the chest with a rope that got there quicker than his glove could.
