VivaHeadDown 0 #8 April 14, 2004 I think they were three little figures representing White, Grissom, and Chaffee. I'm not sure who left them though. Don't Confuse Me With My Own Words
lawrocket 3 #9 April 14, 2004 I'm pretty sure every mission left little mementoes on the moon. Plaques, patches, and even photographs. My wife is hotter than your wife.
wildblue 7 #10 April 14, 2004 Shepard left 2 or 3 golf balls. I think most of the other 'stuff' left on the moon (flag, plaques, parts of spacecraft, a mirror, etc) have or had some value. There's a tie-tack on the moon somewhere too it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

There's a tie-tack on the moon somewhere too yep wildblue got it Quote Alan Shepard is the only person to hit a golf ball on the Moon. During the Apollo 14 mission he fitted an 8 iron head to the handle of a lunar sample collection device and launched three golf balls. They are still there! if my calculations are correct SLINKY + ESCULATOR = EVERLASTING FUN my site
