Vallerina 2 #1 April 14, 2004 Is there a good place online to buy stuff for the beach? Isn't funny how they don't sell beach gear in the Midwest in April... I need a really good towel (or mat...or whatever). I don't like sand in funny places. I need a long sarong because people don't like it when I walk around in a bathing suit. I need cool stuff that I can take with me (I saw a really cool floatable chair that used a noodle and mesh thingy!) What should I take to the beach? Where can I buy it online? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Vallerina 2 #3 April 14, 2004 Ick. I hate Old Navy. I bought a couple of jeans from there, and about 5 months later, they all fell apart on me (broken zippers, holes in the jeans.) I won't shop there because it's very low quality. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

skymama 37 #6 April 14, 2004 Ron Jon's is a popular surf shop in FL. This page has a cute sarong for $10.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Vallerina 2 #7 April 14, 2004 That is cute! And cheap! I might buy one of those pop-up shelter things. I'm going to be spending many days on the beach, so it might be worth it. It's not too expensive there either. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
skymama 37 #8 April 14, 2004 QuoteI might buy one of those pop-up shelter things. I thought that was pretty cool looking too. If I could do things over, I would have been more disciplined about keeping my face out of the sun. I spend way too much money on combating fine lines and wrinkles now because of sun damage! I'll be applying sunblock non-stop, but it won't be good enough. Anything small like that pop-up thingy will help. I can use all the help! The only problem with their site is that they don't have any floating chairs (yes, I'm that lazy.)There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

flyinghonu 0 #11 April 14, 2004 When we went to Hawaii in October, there was not a whole lot of beach stuff out in the regular stores (yes, even here in San Diego). We hit Costco as soon as we landed in Kona and got everything we needed for super cheap. Vallerina 2 #12 April 14, 2004 Quote Take me with you! I'll be your floating chair! Okay! But that last time you did that, I'm not sure if what you were doing really counted as being a chair....There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
Vallerina 2 #13 April 14, 2004 Yay! I'm getting beach stuff! This tent seems like a great deal. It's much bigger than the one at Ron Jon's, and it's cheaper. It'll definitely be easier to be out all day on a beach with a tent like that. It'll be nice that we'll have something to get out of the sun into. Am I stupid for wanting dumb crap like this? Have I mentioned that I have bad spending habits? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
