Question for the Semi-Drivers

Recommended Posts

Ok...so it's not skydiving related, but....the company that I'm working at is looking at putting up a "driver's website." If this was a website that you would be accessing, what kind of information would you like to see that would help you do your job?

Lot lizard prices and quality broken down by individual truck stops would be nice. If that's not possible, just a list of DZ's and bars with, or close to, truck parking. ;)

Recent road trips and staying in truck stops brings a list of things to mind.

WiFi access, whos got them?
Showers/facilities?
Local Construction and routes?
Local speed limits

Other things like Scale hours would probally be nice too.

What phree said, and maybe HC routes through certain cities
Any border patrol check points (big in TX)
Long stretches of no fuel/rest stops
Friendly/unfriendly businesses(trucker discounts etc.)
Required delivery times in certain cities (nyc only at night) etc.

Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

Hazardous Chemicals. Looks like a Big HC surrounded by a circle. You can't truck certian things through cities and that list changes from state to state and even some cities have certian restrictions. Like no toxic waste through downtown NYC.
