TheAnvil 0 #1 April 17, 2004 The idiot Anvil takes over a project 2.5 weeks ago... now we're UNDER budget, AHEAD of schedule, and EXCEEDING performance. Heheheheheehehehehehe. This is too easy. Can't last. But is good while it does. Only had to get directly involved twice and grouch a couple of folks. Not a bad grouch, but a grouch nonetheless. I'm not grouchy by nature and don't like such things. However, the results have been good. Just another reason to consume tequila. Which I've done with my mid-level managers for the past couple of hours. Some don't drink tequila, but that's their problem. freeflir29 0 #3 April 17, 2004 Isn't it great when the people that work for you DON'T SUCK! Makes things easy. Last time I had to manage people was when I was stationed at Ft. Bragg. I had 3 people working for me.....2 were awesome. I never had to worry about them....if I gave them stuff to do I knew they would work through any problems and complete the task. The other one.......I wouldn't trust that lazy moron to watch paint dry! He was a pain in my ass........

Paige 0 #6 April 17, 2004 Congrats, even if it is short term success. Sounds like something to celebrate to me. Summon the tequilla monster and get roudy As a management major, we hardly heard stories of being under budget, ahead of schedule etc.; be proud!Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com

Aha! this must be an American management technique. For UK middle management training they recommend Sambucca. People expect it to be Gin, but that is where they are going wrong - Gin is strictly for training the Civil Service.*************** Not one shred of evidence supports the theory that life is serious - look at the platypus.
