the bird coughing up smoke is pretty messed up.

I just saw that you could read the info on each pic. that bird didnt have smokers lung it was just a cold day

I c what you mean. yeah those are some of the best pictures I've seen. they're so good that i had to decide between ~20% of all the photos in the slideshow. What I dont get is that most people choose some sentimental or patriotic (=boring) stuff over really great images of nature, or ordinary life, or some special occasions like the millenium celebration, when they are masterfully caught by the photographer in an unusual way. Flame me as much as you want but the picture of the bird called "I get misty" gets my vote 10 times over the "My daddy, my hero" thing.
