skybytch 273 #1 April 20, 2004 I'm not big on "vibes" posts but... A customer and friend of mine was involved in a CRW wrap this weekend. I have only second/third hand information about the incident so I'm not going to post details or names. From what I was told she's hurtin' pretty bad; no broken bones but a lot of ligament damage in at least one leg. I was told they were checking for any internal and/or head injuries also. The other person involved broke bones but I don't have solid info on which ones. I know this is all very vague and I wish I could give more details... but please, if praying is something you do I know it'd be appreciated if you could include both of them in your prayers over the next few days. DShiznit 0 #12 April 20, 2004 She's now home. Here is her message from the CRW mailing list: Well, there I was. I saw the toggle input, but before I could react, I'd been hit. I spoke to him on the phone yesterday, and all is copasetic between us. His mistake cost me, but possibly cost him even more. All the details that I know--his elbow shattered, (no doubt on my right knee,) he has a lots of ligaments damage. Shoulder broken, and L4-L5 compressed as he did not flare landing. I thank god for PLF's The impact knocked both shoes and socks off of me, I screamed bloody murder a few times, aimed my canopy at the airport, and prepared to pass out. When I awoke, I was @150 feet,TALK ABOUT FREAKY, flared, but without legs the PLF saved my ass. Word from paramedics was multiple compound fractures.but that was not to be. Doctor told Vic that with the amount of tissue damage, he was real surprised that there were no breaks. he also recommended that Vic never fight me, I'm built like a fire hydrant Left knee and foot both dislocated. It seems that under all this fat there still lies a brick shithouse!! Dislocations have been reset, nearly 300 stitches close my right thigh. Anyway. I have ligament damage to repair in the future, until then, I'll be home, write me.. Thanks for all your calls and letters...just know, you can't get rid of me so easily!!
