freeflir29 0 #1 April 24, 2004 So I have been thinking about buying a rig for quite a while now. I finally decided on one and ordered it last Saturday. What happens 4 days later? Well....I'm on my way to work. Get to a light about 1 mile from the parking lot. I'm sitting at a light and my car DIES!!!! Won't start........I push it into the lot across the street. Well....I'm supposed to be to work in a few minutes. I call the guy I'm working with and he stops by on his way in and picks me up. Cool.....I made it to work. 3 hours after I get off work I'm supposed to get on a plane to go to Atlanta. I ended up leaving the key under the mat for the tow truck guy. I make my flight to ATL. I call the next day and the shop takes a look at my car. Thursday was OK....had a nice meeting and decided to quit my job. Got a sunburn during it. Man was it BEAUTIFUL in ATL.....Clear Blue skys and 85F. It made me HATE Cleveland even more. I didn't think that was possible. Went out with the family Thursday night for dinner. Saw my 10 month old niece for the first time in quite awhile. Got up Friday and went out to Monroe. Did 2 skydives........one with Kelly (Kelel01) I think. Funny skydive! That's all I'll say. Ripped a nice SWOOP!!!! Got to see Pyke get pummeled after volunteering to be a tandem dummy. Called the shop back after I missed their call. Almost had a massive CORONARY when I heard how much it will cost to fix the car. I knew it was going to be bad but it was worse then I expected. 4 days after ordering a rig I am told it will cost $3300 to fix my car. Oh yeah............I'm also supposed to be moving next week. I'm having one of those months........I can't wait until I get all these problems solved. This SUCKS! PS....Kelly is about as cute a girl as they come. Thanks sweety....I REALLY enjoyed the jump and I look forward to making another with you when I get back to Atlanta.

freeflir29 0 #4 April 24, 2004 Quote....oh wait, this is your bitch thread Yeah......but I try not to be too pissy. I realized quite awhile ago that life is one long kick in the nuts after another. So....I always try to suprise myself by finding a couple good things in the midst of the toilet bowl of life. The good things.......I didn't miss either of my flights. I spent a little time with my family which I haven't done in some time and I made TWO skydives. Bringing my GRAND TOTAL for the year to 10 so far. Plus I met Kelly who is a REALLY nice chick. She best watch out when I move back to Atlanta. She's cute and I could definately chase her around manifest once or twice. Oh.....and I bought a carton of Marlboro lights for $6 less than I can get them in Ohio. OK....so I was stretching on that one....

Stacy 0 #6 April 24, 2004 I think it was a bad weekend in general. I got attacked by something (insect?) at the camp I was working at and just got home from the ER withprescriptions, three shots of steroids and the possibility of lyme disease if the welts don't go away. Ugh. __

kelel01 1 #9 April 25, 2004 Clay, I'm sorry you had a shitty couple of days there . . . but I'm glad I could be a bright spot! And, you know, we did create a new form of skydiving, called "Dog Chasing its Tail", or DCIT. I think it'll be all the rage. It was good meeting you, too! You'd better come back to the ATL soon! We'll try to make up for your lousy couple of days. Kelly
