Hey,

Can anyone tell me how to control the length of the line generated by the

---

tag?

I see that several people have sig line separators that only go partway across, or are aligned differently.

Any help?

Using exactly that puncutation (i.e. with the spaces as you have them)? I've been monkeying with it a bit and can't get it to work.

Also, does the width go inside the brackets, or in a separate set (I'm assuming inside the same brackets).

In the second case, the number represents number of pixels.

Additionally, you can control the hight of the line with "size" and also you adjust the style of the line with "noshade".

I think that maybe it just won't work on the forums.

I thought you were asking for HTML, but the stuff the forums let you use is a pretty reduced set.

Still, have a look at SkyMama's sig (example in this thread).

There's got to be some way to achieve that...

The HR is where its at for sig lines , talk to your buddy HH about it, maybe it'll get added so you don't take up your text space by having to use it.
