okay, so i just spent the last 5 hours today and 12 hours yesterday studying for a big test. it took me a record of 8 minutes total to complete it, and i only doubt myself on one question.

grrrr. . . i feel as though all that studying was a waste of my time. i almost wish the test was a bit more challenging. . .

so, that's my bitch of the day.

I'm sure the reason why it took you so little time was because of how well you were prepared for it.

I'm almost always the first one done after tests, but that doesn't mean it was very simple for me. It just means that if I didn't know an answer I would just move on and not waste my time.

But it does suck sometimes when you study so hard for certain things and they are not even in the test. That can be sooo annoying!

In very rare cases this has happened. Usually I can judge pretty well by the way the homework and quizzes look how much time I need to dedicate to the exam. I have been fooled but not often. The worste is when you think you prepared enough and the test comes out of left field and slams you with things you never looked at.


Then all you can do is hope you can make up the error on the next exam or beat the average.

I can think of several tests I've studied hours for and finished in a third of the time alloted, and I can think of tests I've spend maybe an hour or two reviewing and left the test wondering if I had been in the right room.

The former usually occurs in classes I enjoy so I don't mind.

The latter happens in classes I can't stand so I don't care.

This may be true on multiple choice tests, etc... however, some tests are difficult and time consuming regardless of how well prepared you are... Nightingale's got law school coming up though so I'm sure she'll figure that out.

I didn't say they wouldn't be time consuming. I didn't say you wouldn't have to THINK...

Just that if you're well prepared, you should be able to handle the test without too much agony.

I'm doing comprehensive exams for my master's degree right now... they're frustrating and agonizing, but if I didn't know the material, they'd be SOOOO much worse.

My bad my bad, didn't mean to dig on you, just that some tests you prepare for ferociously and know well can be difficult still, some things, complex math and the like can be horrid no matter how well you know it. It's all good though, preparation always helps. BTW, anybody got the answers for the b license test?

Nope, its never happened to me, every time I have a very easy test I never bitch about it. Then again, I don't prepare very well for it either. Had one a couple years ago I showed up drunk to. Got a B, so it wasn't too bad.

I remember a time when that use to happen to me.... Unfortunately anymore I just have to envy those of you who are capable of sailing through so smoothly. I say enjoy it and keep up the good study habits!

A friend and I took our music lit final 2nd semester senior year completely bombed. There's NO WAY we passed it.....yet somehow the prof still gave us A's in the class........we were suprised, yet somehow, didn't feel as if though we should go argue for the grade we felt we deserved....

Normally, when I study for a test, the only material on the test is the stuff I DIDN'T study.

for this class, the tests are usually 'hard', but it's in my major so it's a little easier for me to grasp. however, the professor ALWAYS tries his hardest to make sure every single question is a trick question, so you really have to know your stuff.

i was just a wee bit upset that i was stressing over it so much. it's my own fault, but i was just relating to past tests in the class.

What happens if you've studied hard for a test, you know the material, but you just can't concentrate because in the exam room you're surrounded by total honeys? If only I'd sat near the hippies I'd have a 2:1 instead of a 2:2. Dammit!!!
