EricaH 0 #27 May 6, 2004 QuoteThat's what I love about Wrigley Field. It isn't just about baseball. There's more to it than that. And THAT is why I'll go to Wrigley. I can appreciate a long hit ball or a great chatch, but typically, it's super dull. Car racing, I love fast cars & the wrecks are spectacular; however whatching them go round & round gets dull... most sports are the same for me. Some people think soccer is boring, I played it & can appreciate the work that goes into playing a good game. I do pay to go to things I don't necessarly like, because my friends like them & I want to enjoy my friends experience. I only to to Comisky if my lawyers gives me box seat tickets There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear. PMS #227 (just like the TV show)
Vallerina 2 #28 May 6, 2004 QuoteVal were you close to Sosa's long-ball at least? Nope, I sure wasn't. That's probably for the best. I wouldn't have wanted Jody to have gotten hit by it! QuoteI can appreciate a long hit ball or a great chatch, but typically, it's super dull. Yup! I would never sit and watch a baseball game on tv at home or anything like that. QuoteSome people think soccer is boring, I played it & can appreciate the work that goes into playing a good game. Soccer = mucho fun. I should've gone to Barcelona during soccer season. Quote only to to Comisky if my lawyers gives me box seat tickets I can only go to night games because of work, and I don't really want to go to a Sox game at night! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

QuoteI should've gone to Barcelona during soccer season so long as you don't get beaten up or worse - that would ROCK!! on a side note, I'm goin w/ Peter & a bunch of other Polish to the Chicago Fire/Polish soccer game sometime comin up - wanna join? FallingILweenie 0 #31 May 6, 2004 I got to go to the opening game of the 1994 World Cup at Soldier Field--that was sweet, even tho the game ended up being kinda boring.
FliegendeWolf 0 #32 May 6, 2004 QuoteWhere else can I prevent my drunk 100 pound sister-in-law from causing major brawls??? Where else do the people in a 5 ft radius become your best friends that you'll never see again? Where else can the hometeam being beaten horribly but no one seems to leave? Fenway Park? airtwardo 7 #33 May 6, 2004 I think it was 1987.. I'm living in San Diego, and never miss a Cubs~ Pardes game.Sitting out in right center...on the isle as always! Up to bat comes a brand new Cubs rookie, first time at "The Show". The very FIRST pitch in the majors thrown at him was a fastball way inside... The 'kid' just HAMMERS it into the cheap seats, this semi-drunk fan bare hands it out of self defense. I STILL have the first homerun hit by Mark Grace here on my desk! ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
