lawrocket 3 #1 May 6, 2004 My wife and I spend about 24/7 together. It's actually really nice. We haven't spent more than four hours apart in about 3 months. Last time It was a day apart was in January (in Cleveland on business where I met the in-famous Clay - a heckuva good guy) It can be tough sometimes to be apart. Not that I don't trust her or she doesn't trust me but I'd rather be with her. I never realize that more than when we're apart. So, here's my postulate: one of the better gifts in a relationship is the gift of missing each other. I haven't done it in a while, but it might be a good reason to head down to Perris for the Memorial Day Boogie - at least for a few hours. I'd like to take her with me, but I think it may be better if she's not going along (she's pregnant, has a long drive, it'll be hot, etc.). Then she can hang out with her friends while I'm gone. Everyone needs some alone time every once in a while, but maybe it's not best to present it that way. I mean, she'll be quite pregnant at that time, correct? She'll probably be glad to let you go without her. Don't try to make it sound like you're doing her a favor. But you can present all of those advantages if she seems upset about you going. On top of that, she wants to see what this skydiving scene is all about, so she's going with me. An even better gift, says I. Mine are all in the Los Angeles area, so when I hang out with them it usually means time apart. But it's nice to realize that time apart affirms why we're together. My wife is hotter than your wife.
