skycat 0 #1 May 6, 2004 Ahhhh....the sweet sound of the outdoor, crickets chirping in the night. *sigh* It's just like camping or sleeping with the windows open. Oh wait, that's right, the windows are closed and I'm in the house and the chirping is coming from the livingroom. AHHHH...it's driving me nuts. What is worse...I paid good money for these little night time screamers....stupid pet food. Need to get the dragon weaned off noisy bugs and on to greens. (The brat eats 10+ crickets a day until she gets to about 9 months then it's 3-4 every few days and greens everyday) Greens are nice and quiet, they don't tempt the other pets to wack on thier enclosure. Oh did I mention my job was causing me to loose my mind. Fly it like you stole it!

Brains 2 #4 May 6, 2004 You got a garage to put the "pet food" in?? Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
skycat 0 #5 May 6, 2004 Quotea dragon???? what kinda lizard you got???? Bearded Dragon, and she is going through her teen years right now. Doesn't want to be picked up and hisses at you when you do. Of course then she is screwed has has to sit on my lap for a while, while the rest of the pets try to figure out what it is and if they can play with it too. The attached picture is what she will look like when she grows up, I'll take a pic of here tonight, she is getting big fast. BTW...I live in an apartment, so under the dragon cage is the only option for the pet food/toys.Fly it like you stole it!

Remster 30 #8 May 7, 2004 What do they taste like? EDIT: the lizzards that is, nut the bugs. A man has to have some limits you know Remster
skycat 0 #9 May 7, 2004 I'm guessing not very tasty, since I forgot to close her cage yesterday and after I had left to work she got out. Derek came home and she was chilling in the hallway with the dog, not a scratch on her. So neither the cat nor the dog had a little lizard treat. Fly it like you stole it! PrairieDoug 0 #14 May 7, 2004 I've also got a BD... they are my favorite reptile. I feed it mostly super worms or mealworms and that avoids the cricket racket.
