Laurel 0 #1 May 10, 2004 Congratulations to the 60 folks that broke the state record this past Saturday. The former record was a 40-way, which was completed last year. This year, not only was the 60-way completed, but a 41-way 3-point jump was also successful. Gold Coast Skydivers played host with the help of Spaceland's Otter and Fayard's Casa. AggieDave 6 #2 May 10, 2004 Can the average person in Mississippi even count that high? Ok, seriously, that's badass! Its also a kickass honor for your home DZ to do. Got any pics you could toss up here for us?--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
Laurel 0 #3 May 10, 2004 You are funny, Texas boy. Do y'all even speak English over there or is it just Espanol? Actually, I am from Louisiana, the best state according to Maxim magazine this month. . I don't have any pictures, though. I did see a newspaper that had a shot of it, but I don't know who took it...................................................................... Mirage63 0 #9 May 10, 2004 Just a note of thanks to the crew at Moss Point. Mike Igo makes it one of my favorite places to jump. The staff and local jumpers are great if you ever get a chance to drop by. Also if you get a chance to do something that Tom Jenkin or Jack Burke are putting on do so. They keep the pace going the debriefs positive and fun. The sixty way was cool, but the three pont 40 way was s-l-i-c-k. We had a little bad luck when one of the planes died (on the ground). I'm sure that we would have done at least a two point 60 way. Thanks again for a great time!
