WFFC 1 #26 May 11, 2004 Quote______ Oh Boo I wanna join in on your fun of harrassing Mike! Who's Mike? Mar - It would definately create some good vibes with you, Renee and Val all in one place. Besides, the weather is better there than here. And, just so you don't get burned out, there's these snow days in winter that you can go skiining and possibly play 18 holes of golf in shorts - all in the same day in winter no less - if you like.----- ~~~Michael

Just add socks and you're ready to goMay your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. Vallerina 2 #29 May 11, 2004 Whew! It's 55 degrees here today! I'll take the fog to be comfortable! It's supposed to warm up to 70, though Quoteif you don't like that, stay the hell away from South/Central/East/North Texas for the rest of your life. Done It's not that I mind hot weather. For example, the Caribbean rocks. However, when you're on vacation, and you can jump into water at any time, hot weather isn't so bad. It's when you have to do things like...live in it...ick. And, it's not that 80+ degrees is bad. I could deal with it if that's the hottest it gets. However, when it's only May and it gets up to over 80 degrees, I cry thinking about how the rest of my summer is going to go.There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

EricaH 0 #31 May 11, 2004 QuoteIt's 55 degrees here today! I'll take the fog to be comfortable! It's supposed to warm up to 70, though grrr it was cold this morning - I had to wear a jacket again. I HATE cold weather. I think FL is still in my blood, anything below 74 is cold - 86 is my favorite temp, w/ a bit of humidity. However, to you southerners (other than Mississippi from my knowledge) - summers here in chicago do get as bad as they are in say FL or parts of TX (not Houston). For about 2.5 months it's often times worse than it is in FL - hot & humid. the thing i bitch about is taht there's no in-between. last week we had frost warnings, i think there was one day of mid-60's; then right into summer - on the other end, there'll be about a week of fall - then WINTER. UGH - already dreading winter. There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear. PMS #227 (just like the TV show)
Skyrose7 0 #32 May 11, 2004 I have made a vow not to complain about hot weather. I hate cold weather so much, every winter I promise not to bitch about hot weather. I guess I shouldn't be a Michigander if I hate cold weather, but it takes a while to get out, I guess.
