You can tell by the tail.....but in royals there is a 1:2:1 ratio. 1 Male, 2 Females, and 1 unknown. Hehe....security system..for my rig when it gets here...no one will want to come in my place to steal it if they know I have 2 snakes over 5ft. Monty is a girl, and a beautiful one at that! Near the window was a large wood and plexiglass cage a little bigger than a phone booth, with a big branch in it, and a 6-FOOT BURMESE PYTHON NAMED PUNDAH! It was an awesome snake! I liked it so much (and everyone knew it), that I got my seat saved for me right next to the cage every day. I even got to feed it the first rat of the school year. (I remember feeling sorry for the rat afterwards, though.) Now my brother and his wife have a small albino corn snake that's about a foot and a half long, the thickness of a laundry marker. I used to raise snakes (King, Boas, Pythons, Hognose, had rattlesnakes for awhile until they had babies - you'd be amazed at what those little ones could work themselves out of ) and an African Savanah Monitor lizard as well as the mice and rats to feed them.Life is short!
