Unfortunately, no, I didn't keep any of them.

Vladimere - the African Savanah Monitor - was over 3 ft. long when we had to get rid of him. He went to a new owner that had an entire room set aside for him.

And, all of the snakes went to friend's homes that already had snakes.

The hog nose always kept me entertained when he'd play dead. Kinda miss the little bugger...well, him and Vladimere.

Here's the pics that I could find. I tried to crop as much of me out of them as possible, but the Python and King Snake one....well...there wasn't any way to do it without getting creative, and I'm too tired to get creative.

Florida life.......where in florida? If you are near orlando check out Pet Bazzaar on 436 state road. They always have some great herps, and they specialize in them too.

My husband wants a snake but I'm thinking a snake, a bird, a rabbit, and iguana and a gecko may not be such a good mix. Actually, I'm not so worried about the iguana and gecko but the bunny and the bird. I wouldn't want my daughter's bunny to end up snake chow.

That is a very good possibility if the snake gets out. ALL snakes get out one time or more....they are escape artists.

Is that not the truth? I still remember the time that I heard this really strange rustling in my bedroom curtains in the middle of the night. Didn't stop and think of what it could be...just reach over and grabbed what was there. Imagine my surprise when I grabbed one of my snakes that had been locked into it's cage just a few hours ago. OMG!!! That was sooo funny to wake up to.

I used to work with a Bermese python 10' at Gentle Jungle along with farrots and Cervils. I loved that job.

Haha....nice! Yeah my python got out and I couldnt find her. I did the whole heat light, dead mouse, and water bowl in the middle of the living and shut off all the lights routine. Well I open my closet and I see her head sticking out of my rollerblade! She jumped back in to the boot almost as if to say....."Oh my god, did he se me? Awwww dammit...I am busted." lol...I love that little bugger!

Reptiles are often over looked for pets because of peoples lack of knowledge on them. To me reptiles make some of the best pets. I love my snakes....when I see them basking, or bathing I get all happy and start to laugh...and talk to them too...thats important.
