mujie96 0 #1 May 13, 2004 Hello skyjumpy people, I lost my anti-virus software in an unfortunate schmelting accident. I have to buy some now. What are your favorites? Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
Glipazide 0 #3 May 13, 2004 Norton Internet Security. It's a Anti-Virus, Firewall and pop-up blocker all in one. Norton has a mail in rebate of $20.00 right now. If you have broadband, you can download it here and also place your order. There is a PDF form to fill out for the rebate at the bottom of the page. http://nct.symantecstore.com/0001/bcp_surfsafe.html Clint S.http://sexygirlabs.com/url]
quade 4 #4 May 13, 2004 My favorite anti-virus software? Mac OS X. Since almost all viruses are written to take advantage of flaws in Microsoft software. there have been a few Mac viruses, but it's hardly worth worring about.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

Guest #7 May 13, 2004 In my personal experience, AntiVir 9x works well, and it is free for individual users. mh ."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
RevJim 0 #8 May 13, 2004 QuoteIn my personal experience, AntiVir 9x works well, and it is free for individual users. mh . I still say Avast antivirus. Free for home use, and I have to admit, it's done an incredible job here. During the last outbreak, the auto-update was going nuts. I counted 4 updates in the space of 2 hours. These people are on their toes! No wonder they can charge an arm, leg, and first born for the server versions. Only stipulation for free use, you have to register it once a year. Small price to pay for very good quality, in my opinion. http://www.avast.com/i_idt_153.htmlIt's your life, live it! WFFC 1 #10 May 14, 2004 QuoteI still say Avast antivirus. http://www.avast.com/i_idt_153.html I second Rev's opinion. I've got Avast running on my desktop, McAfee running on my server. McAfee's support hasn't been that great when I've dealt with them, but the issues did get fixed. Never got that out of Norton.----- ~~~Michael
