tunaplanet 0 #1 May 15, 2004 Horse racing is a passion of mine. I used to gamble for a living and betting on the horses constituted about a quarter of my income. If I ever win the lotto one of my dreams is to buy my own horse and race him. Who will win today? It's a tough call. If I had to pick a flat out winner I would go with Smarty Jones. Looks like the reigning Kentucky Derby winner will do it again here. I like Lion Heart too, but not thrilled about him getting the rail slot. Imperialism is one to watch for as well. My longshot pick? Not really a longshot but The Cliff's Edge may take this one. Maybe one would consider him a longshot seeing he's 8-1 since there's 5 other horses whose odds are better. Note on the poll, I left out Little Matth Man since he has no chance to win. If I would have included him I would have had to create 5 more slots on the poll. Didn't want to do that for 1 horse.
