Bank Robbery while I was at work.

Ok I am not a teller, or anything that involves the bank, but I am outside with a co-worker just chilling. When we see this guy come running around the corner with a duffel bag. At first we are like hrmmm.....then BANG.....the bag explodes. Red paint, tear gas, and smoke go everywhere. The dude gets all pissed and drops the bag while running. He clearly has a gun in his hand....what kind I couldnt really make it out....all I know is he was running towards us, then ducked down one of the sides of the building. Myself, Coors man, and my co-worker try to chase him down. By the time we got to where he went down the alley he was gone. Myself and the coors man went down the alley, co-worker went and started collecting the cash. There was about $20,000 in bills flying around. The dude got away.....but he got no cash.

cliff notes: Dude robs bank with gun, myself and coors man try and chase him down. We lose him. Cops show up and we hand them the bag of cash and fill out reports.

At the time I wasnt really thinking anything, but after I was like....damn dude....we could have got shot. And dying when your not really sick, is really sick ya know?*movie line*......Coors man didnt even give me a beer, but the hotties at the hair salon thought it was mighty brave of us.....lol.

PS- I looked at every bill when I put it in the bag...and the funny part is every one was marked with either...."Infinity", "PD", or "Cypres"
PPS- That dye, pepper spray shit is strong as hell.

None...I will tell you what. The red paint is all over the ground and the pepper spray stuff that also gets released is potent like you wouldnt believe!

It would have brought me to his stealing loser level.

Wow, adventure! Glad you're not hurt by the scumbag robber.

You know, it strikes me as funny... Maybe being dumb enough to have to rob banks for your living goes hand in hand with being uneducated, and that contributes to never reading a newspaper -- because if a person DID read a newspaper regularly, he'd know about the dye packs that they put into the bags of money they hand to robbers. Any semi-smart robber would demand individual stacks of bills, the ones with bands around them, right? I mean, the people who fall for that have to be really fuckin' dumb. I guess it's good that many of our criminals do not keep very abreast of the ways in which authorities thwart or catch criminals.

Thats what I am saying. Anyone who robs a bank must be a complete tool. Do they seriously think they will get the cash and get away with it? The odd part is that generally you have a stereotype of "robbers" right? This guy was so far away from it it wasnt even funny. Late 30's, glasses and balding.

At first we didnt chase him because we didnt know what the hell was going on. I thought there was no way he just robbed a bank, where is his President of the United States mask?

It was an interesting day.
