I've seen the ad on you tube for the "Lazy Bag". Seems like a cool idea, but it ain't cheap. I have vectran lines and I wonder if it will make them wear faster. Anyone out there tried this d-bag?? Is it worth the money??

UPT offers a similar bag that uses two rubber bands.

I have seen the UPT version in use. It's not a new idea.

Check out this recent thread on the subject HERE. You can also do a search using the term "berger bag" and "bergerbag" here in the forum and read the threads that were generated several years ago. As has been stated, this is not a new idea by any means and there are several versions/variations out there that basically do the same thing, some are just better than others. You will find that the better versions use traditional locking stows.

I have been using the current UPT version in both of my rigs, details can be seen in the UPT stowless bag thread. It's not for everyone, some like it, some don't, so it's hard to say if it's worth the money or not. I recommend you demo one and make at least 4-8 jumps with it before you make up your mind if you like it or not.
