billvon 3,121 #1 May 24, 2004 Michele, Mary and Jen, along with a host of other DZ.commers and JFTC women, set up and executed the first JFTC calendar shoot this weekend. It went amazingly well, and the photographers (Quade, Deuce and DaGimp, among others) got some magazine-quality material. If the rest of the shoots go this well, the problem will not be getting enough good material, it will be which good material to _not_ use. My involvement was limited to occasional gofer ("Hey, get that pink bag from the jet" "Get us a pitcher of beer!") but I did get to see how seriously everyone took the shoot, and how much support the women got from both Perris and the people at the DZ. So congratulations Michele and Mary, and I hope the rest of the shoots go as well as this one did.
lawrocket 3 #2 May 24, 2004 Cheers to Michele and Mary and Jen, and especially to the photographers and models. Everyone is donating, and I think all you folks are fantastic. All you people are wonderful, and even folks like billvon who help with even menial tasks, are awesome. Pretty easy for me to say from up here in Fresno where I didn't do anything to help this weekend. I'll buy some beer for some of ya! My wife is hotter than your wife. Nightingale 0 #3 May 24, 2004 Michele, Jen and Mary ROCKED this weekend! They worked tremendously hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone took the whole shoot so seriously, which helped a lot in things running smoothly. The photographers were wonderful professionals and got some AMAZING shots! And our door guards took their jobs very seriously, making sure the ladies and photographers inside weren't disturbed. Melanie and the DZ bent over backwards to make the shoot everything it could be, and Kate let us take over her team room for make-up (thanks much! having my own workspace really helped me get everyone ready in a reasonable amount of time!) To everyone involved: You're AWESOME! The photos are amazing, and I have no doubt you're going to love the finished calendar. If the other shoots go as well, Michele, Jen, and Mary will have the hardest job of all: choosing!
Deuce 1 #4 May 24, 2004 The makeup was perfect! It's SO funny to see hardcore, world-record-holding, turning-point-on-the-hill, "I didn't say 400, I said 4000" saying female skydivers on a dropzone with makeup! Funny! Best quote was from Ari who said "I'm just afraid somebody is going to think I'm some skydiver's wuffo girlfriend" Yeah, it was fun.

Nightingale 0 #7 May 24, 2004 HEHE. ROFL. Funniest thing I heard was from Kate Cooper: Kate: "um...I already know what you're going to say, but I'm going to ask anyway...since we're going to be outside and far away from the camera, do I still have to wear that foundation stuff?? I can't feel the wind on my face. I know its windy because my hair is moving, but I can't feel it!" Me: "Yes. Sit."
billvon 3,121 #8 May 24, 2004 >Because apparently I'm just chopped liver...... Don't sell yourself short! You're much closer to ground beef than chopped liver. Great picture of Amy in the wingsuit just after exit BTW.

Dougiefresh 0 #20 May 24, 2004 I'm sure it's been discussed before, but aren't skydiving chicks the hottest? Find me another group of people with such good looking females. Oh wait a minute... soccer chicks are hot too. I'm gonna go find me a soccer playing chick who jumps out of airplanes!!!!
