AggieDave 6 #1 May 28, 2004 Back when the Soviet Union was still around, it was hard for folks to get a car/automobile. They had to save and save and save then maybe they could get one. Well, a middle aged man had been saving for 20 years and finally had enough certificate rubels to go purchase a car. It works a little different over there, you buy the car then once your name comes up on the list they make you one and deliever it. So he goes to the dealership, fills out all the paperwork, gave all his saved money to the salesman and asked when the car would be delievered. The sales man said "It will be May 28th four years from today." The buyer smiles and asks "will that be in the morning or in the afternoon?" The salesman, who became annoyed at this point said "what does it matter, its 4 years from now?" The buyer looks at him and says "well, the plumber will be there in the morning..." --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
