Michele 1 #1 May 29, 2004 Quick squib on FOX Greta Van Susteren's show, talking about the Memorial dedication on Monday. Showing 3 original jumpers from DDay, now in their 80's, static lining from what looks like the Otter at Elsinore. And there Ed was, grinning. Thank God I read lips....one guy says "I'm ready", Ed pops the goggles down on the guy's face, and says "Now you're ready" and flashes that Ed grin. And then the shot of the guy exiting. He didn't present, did a whole flip, and then had a nice canopy. Too much fun. How incredible these guys - and indeed all our veterans - are. And how cool for Ed that he got to throw these three from the plane. YAY Ed! Thanks for doing that! At least all they had to worry about was a mal...no bullets or bombs to concern themselves with this time.
