Have to thank Jumpshack and Mike Forsythe!

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to send out a big THANK YOU to Mike Forsythe and Jumpshack. Mike coddled me through the maze of the rig ordering process ( This was my pre-second time ordering a new rig) and time after time bent over backwards to make sure I was happy. I have nothing to say but really good stuff! If you haven't seen a NEW Racer you owe yourself a look. I spend the MAJORITY of my skydives on my head. If you have the idea that a Racer isn't free fly friendly you are either stupid or blind. Mine is pretty much Bullet proof where that's concerned. I also think it has the finest riser covers in the industry......bar none! I, as well as many others I talked to, are quite impressed with their products. On top of a kick ass product their customer service can absolutely NOT be beat. In the past four years I have met A LOT of people in the skydiving industry. None have the passion for customer service that Mike Forsythe and Jumpshack have shown me. They absolutely rock. Mike.......you have made me a Jumpshack customer for life. Thanks.....but what's my tally up to now? I owe you a bottle for finding my reserve brakes set 4 inches too short and fixing that so I don't DIE on my 1st reserve ride (Whenever that may come).......you did a kick ass job ordering and getting my rig built.....when a simple shipping mistake was made you insisted on sending it OVERNIGHT back to me even though you really didn't need to.........ummm....I have sucked down countless Sweet Nectar Rum Runners from your blender.......Wow......I'm never gonna pay off this debt! :D

I also have to tell the story of how I came to buy a Racer. I had a fatefull neeting with Mike at the Mardi Gras Boogie back in Feb. When I met him I found out he worked for Jumpshack. Just through hanging out with him because he is a damn nice guy........of course I got to see a lot of his demo stuff. Well....like a lot of people the only Racers I knew were old stuff that I wouldn't THINK of free flying in so I really had no interest in them. I can only describe Mike as "Passionate" about his products. He believes in and jumps everything he sells. I have yet to hear him say anything bad about another manufacturer. In fact....he usually tells me how great other companie's products are.....but then he tells me why Jumpshack can do better. I just so happened to have a "work" trip to Houston in April. Well....I went out to Waller to get in a couple jumps and Mike happened to be there as well. I had been toying with the idea of buying a new rig for quite some time. After taking yet another look at the Racer I decided, on the spur of the moment, to fill out an order form. Mike just plain sold me on his stuff. He has taken care of me at every step and I certainly appreciate his concern. Thanks Mike.......Hopefully I'll be spending several months in Florida this winter and I hope to get in some jumps with you and of course Paige! (Sorry dude.....she's just plain better looking than your ugly ass! ;))

PS Hope this doesn't come off as advertising in the forums but they just did an AWESOME job and I thought they deserved the recognition for it!

Good on you for posting what went right instead of something that went wrong.

Hey....I put the shipping SNAFU in there too. :D Bad thing is I did the EXACT same thing when I ordered something from Amazon.com for Christmas. I went click happy and before I knew it I sent the gift to myself instead of my parents house. :S It was a pain in the ass hauling that huge box through the airport. [:/] Seriously.....they really did a great job and I thought they should be recognized. Especially since many companies out there tend to treat you more like a hostage than a customer.
