the stolen rig on ebay

Recommended Posts

The stolen rig that was on ebay a wweek ago has been recovered. Rastas gets it back tuesday the cops went and got it today. Thanks to all of you that helped or offered to help in this process.

The guy selling it didn't know it was stolen he bought it at a swap meet.

That's what they all say...

Never seen ONE case where someone caught trying to sell stolen property admited to knowing it was hot.

Glad to hear the rig's going home though

I figured as much, and said so in the earlier thread.

The dude is out some bux, but he probably won't be charged with knowingly receiving/selling stolen goods.

The detectives aren't going to go after the original perp either - it isn't worth the effort.

But Rastas is getting his rig back! Woo-Hoo! :D

Glad I took that day to search eBay for "parachute." I usually don't use that search word -- too many irrelevant hits.

I'm glad the rig is making it's way home.

Noice!

BTW, this is my standard saved search. It's still being refined....

skydiv* -jeep -million -DVD -superstar -marvel -vhs -dvd -sign -atari -playstation -transformer -joe -garmin -ufo -ministry -nokia -trance -techno -oakenfold -bobster -charm -pendant -balloon -cd

I get daily emails from ebay, and it's pretty relevant. When I notice a few repeats of irrelevant items, I add another "-".

Hi Author

Talked with a cop one time said they could go to any flee mkt, swap meet etc and find lots of stolen stuff.

Like you said not worth the effort.

Awesome! Rastas kicks ass, he taught my coaching course. Glad to see the system is working.
