chopchop 0 #1 June 1, 2004 so.. Plaything and I will be bouncing back and forth from NYC to DC via the non-descript white cargo van from June 13th - the 23rd with some work thrown in.. looks like days off will be 15,16,17,19,20,21 and 22.. Where do we go? What do we do? Any dzs active near or between these cities on weekdays? Any other ideas? Neither of us are big on crowds and spending more than a day sightseeing in NYC or DC would be a stretch. chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. Jimbo 0 #2 June 1, 2004 CrossKeys is right in the middle of NYC and DC. Check the CK Bulletin Board to find out what's going on when you'll be there. Aside from CK, there's the Ranch - just a few hours outside of NYC, and Skydive Orange is down near DC somewhere. - Jim"Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed. headoverheels 334 #4 June 2, 2004 Go see some stuff and do some things you can't do at home. I stopped taking my rig on business/vacation more than 20 years ago, unless it is a mostly skydive vacation. A day or two in DC, the same in NYC, a couple in Philly, some time hiking or at the beach. If you must jump, CrossKeys is pretty darn nice. It's the only one I've been to back there, so I'm sure some locals can provide more DZ info.

Well... as I said in my original post.. city sight-seeing isn't really for us but if you can recommend any good hiking or camping areas, we are all ears.. As for leaving my rig behind.. that ain't gonna happen.. I love to jump at new places.. and meet new friends.. 7 days is a lot of time though and other activities would be good. chopchop gotta go... froglady 0 #10 June 2, 2004 http://users.erols.com/bobcan/hiking/ Sorry not good with the clicky thing. This is a good hiking link for Northern Virginia, also has lots of links to other hiking areas. There is also an amazing Air and Space museum(Udvar-Hazy Center) that opened next to Dulles airport. Well worth a visit.
