alanab 0 #1 May 31, 2004 what a weekend! i just got back from the boogie. no, i didn't end up jumping, and i missed out on a lot of very cool jump opportunities to let my ankle heal. i'm a good girl:) i met sooo many new people and hung out with old friends as well. brought a bunch of OU skydivers for their first and second jumps. met bill cole and got to talk with him lots about his very cool experiences. jim and lee are awesome for making dinner for EVERYONE on saturday night. it was soo good. bad weather had us at a movie yesterday and drinking early. we did escape the tornadoes passing through last night though! i took over 200 pics and will post the link soon! i had a really really fun weekend despite no jumping. i wouldnt trade my weekend for anything. i really value the friendships made and kept! oh, and paige's new car is the bomb, it has head light sprayers! i love SGC and all the people there this weekend. one of the funnest boggies ever! cant wait to go back again soon. and hopefully the non sgc jumpers and all of us can get together again soon this summer for an sgc memorial day boogie reunion! how's that sound? Even though we didn't jump but once on Sunday, we made the best of it by hitting the climbing gym and then stuffing ourselves at an Italian restaurant. Killed most of the kites in the wind today. The weather was far from perfect, but what we didn't have in jumps (I still ended up with 10 this weekend) was easily made up for with all the awesome people. I organized my pre-second tracking dive (which was entertaining at best), and just had a great time with some great people. Jim O, Amanda, Amanda965, Alana, Paige, Justi, Amy, Hazzard, Mark, Michele, Paulie, Sarah, Bubbles (naughty girl), Vern, Kelly, and Melanie: It was great to get to meet all of you and become friends with you throughout this long weekend. The weather was far from perfect, but what we didn't have in jumps (I still ended up with 10 this weekend) was easily made up for with all the awesome people. I organized my pre-second tracking dive (which was entertaining at best), and just had a great time with some great people. Jim O, Amanda, Amanda965, Alana, Paige, Justi, Amy, Hazzard, Mark, Michele, Paulie, Sarah, Bubbles (naughty girl), Vern, Kelly, and Melanie: It was great to get to meet all of you and become friends with you throughout this long weekend. I now have several good reasons (listed above) to visit Aerohio, and Tecumseh. And of course I also plan on being around SGC more often. And yea, Paige's headlight washers are pretty sweet.
