I'd fly into ontario any day. much less hassle, security wise, lower fees, shorter car rental lines, less traffic to get whereever you're going. Also, check into flying into John Wayne. Its very close to Disneyland.

Ontario is probably about the same distance as LAX is from D-land, but getting to d-land from ontario is a much quicker drive, because there's a lot less traffic. Just take the 15 south to the 91 west to the 57 south, exit Ball Road, head west and follow the signs.

From LAX, take Sepulveda Bl. south to the 105 freeway, head East. Take the 605 south to the 91 east. take the 57 south to ball road, head west and follow the signs. Expect to sit in traffic for some time around the LAX area, especially if your flight gets in after 2 pm on a weekday.

From John Wayne, take the 5 north and follow the signs.

I'm going to assume you mean Ontario (ONT) or Santa Ana, John Wayne (SNA).

SNA is physically closer by quite a bit, but in SoCal distance doesn't matter -- travel time is what is important. Both have bus service to the Disneyland area. Travel time will depend on time of day but generally speaking about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes from each to Disneyland.

My suggestion would be the spend the least amount of money as the actual travel experience will be about the same.

Dude, Ontario was the furthest aiport for me when I was living 5 miles from D-land. I flew out of there more often than any other airport. Heck, John Wayne and Long Beach were easily the closest, and never once have I flown out of them.

Ontario is great, especially if you are flying in and driving to D-land area in the afternoon. Weekday mornings are a freaking nightmare from Ontario to D-land, though.
