tunaplanet 0 #4 June 6, 2004 Remembering a great american icon is not political, religeous nor gun related. The site is a great one to look back on the life of a man who changed all of our lives. It's quite funny how people have to constantly find controversy in everything. Relax and enjoy life. Forty-two

quade 4 #7 June 6, 2004 Ronald Reagan died yesterday June 5, 2004. He was 93 years old and had been the 40th President of the United States of America. Listening to NPR this morning on the way to the drop zone was like listening to a love letter -- very respectful. What was really nice was them replaying him speaking at the 40th anniversay of the D-Day invasion, 20 years ago today. I believe they have links to various Reagan speeches on their web site.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

Icon....Not the word I would have used....But my proper responce would belong in the Speakers Forum. Weather you re pro-Regan or not ,this IS a political thread!! unless you knew him personally. show me I am wrong? ~J"One flew East, and one flew West..............one flew over the cuckoo's nest" "There's absolutely no excuse for the way I'm about to act"
 nacmacfeegle 0 #10 June 7, 2004 Reagan was probably one of the most poular US presidents of recent years. Although his educational policies may not have been very effective. "Weather you re pro-Regan or not ,this IS a political thread!! unless you knew him personally." I disagree. If people feel a need to bash him, they can bash him over on speakers corner, tasteless IMO, but that is your right. People should take their issues there, as opposed to moving the thread.-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me.
