Guest #1 June 9, 2004 Hello all, I'm doing some research on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD. I'm trying to see if there is a higher incidence of those diagnosed with PTSD in the skydiving community versus the general population. Assistance and comments are most welcome. ChrisL 2 #3 June 9, 2004 You will not gonna get a decent result by trying to get people responding to this thread. If you want reasonably accurate results you need to find a different method. You need to sample the same amount of non-jumpers as jumpers to get unbiased data and in this forum you cant control the numbers that respond. Additionally, in this thread you are likey to get a higher percentage of positive results because people that have not suffered from it wont reply so your data for your skydiver group will be skewed all by itself.
