Happy 100 to me!

What an exciting couple weeks for me and skydiving!!!

First, I made a trip to Perris for the Memorial Day boogie. (First jump in California, first time jumping at Perris, and first time in a Skyvan.)

There I met some wonderful DZ.commers, including the lovely VanillaSkyGirl and the amazing Amazon. I made my Pink Mafia jump (
Then I came back to Skydive Wayne County, and did a few excellent sit dives with my friends and a visitor (Eric, who was a kickass freeflyer from Minneapolis).

And then I did my 100!!!!!! It was an 8-way hybrid that looked beautiful -- for about two seconds. And then it all funneled and went to hell.

But it was fun!!!! And what a way to celebrate my very special 100th.

Later that night, everyone was doing night jumps. I thought about joining in ... but man, I owe too much beer already!

I'm just so happy today, even though I had to work on an absolutely gorgeous Sunday. I feel so fortunate to have found a community of friends and family in skydiving. Every time I'm at altitude looking at the world below, I feel like the luckiest person on Earth. And after I land, when I see the support and the love I receive from so many other skydivers, I feel even luckier.

*MWAH* to all the skydivers I know out there and all I have yet to meet. And an extra *MWAH* to the other Pink Mafia Sisters -- especially big sis Amazon, who is totally who I want to be when I grow up.

Oh Maggie, you are so sweet, fun and beautiful inside and out! Meeting you and your sweetheart, Jason, was one of the highlights of the Memorial Day weekend for me. You are both so loving and kind, and you both seemed so very happy flying in Perris.

Maggie our PM sister jump was silly and sooo much fun! I loved every minute of it, even though I was upside down at times. The only sad part was that poor Jake was sooo disappointed that he didn't get the perfect picture with all FOUR of us in it. That was really sad, but there is always next time, right? Also, I noticed that Jake (DaGimp) took some cute PICS
of you and Jason exiting the skyvan, not to mention our fun PM pics. (You're so beautiful, Maggie.
Also, I am so happy that if I wasn't the one that could do it, that Jeannie was the one who initiated you. She is an awesome woman and an amazing human being. We are truly blessed to have her as a pink mafia delegate and as a friend, in general. She has always has been so friendly and outgoing with new people. She is doing us all soooo proud!!!

Well, congratulations, sweetie for your 100th. I hope that you, Jason and I will cross paths again very soon. Take care, my friend.

I had a kick ass time while I was down there in Perris.. Meeting you and Jason was definitely one of the high points of the boogie for me. All of the initiation jumps are just soooo much fun
Hopefully you guys can come to the DIZZIE DOT COM Holiday Boogie in Eloy... or to Lost Prairie...both will have LOTS of kewl jumpin to do.

This has been a long week.. 7 new sisters in the two weekends. way too much fun with great new friends.
