NovaTTT 2 #2 April 13, 2010 Jerry Baumchen has instructions for making slinks. It's a 10MB file so I can't upload it. Give Jerry a PM or shoot me an email and I'll send it to you."Even in a world where perfection is unattainable, there's still a difference between excellence and mediocrity." JohnRich 4 #3 April 13, 2010 What do you mean by "re-usable"? Aren't they already?
AggieDave 6 #4 April 13, 2010 QuoteWhat do you mean by "re-usable"? Aren't they already? The store bought soft links are. The old school rigger made soft links were sewn and not re-usable.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
skyfreek 1 #5 April 13, 2010 some that i have seen are a sewn loop, that has to be cut off if you want to remove canopy. i`m looking for something like pd slinks..
riggerrob 643 #6 April 13, 2010 It is easier to copy the soft links made by Flight Concepts or Hyper USA. Those soft links dispense with metal rings or cloth tape tabs and just use large, ugly knots. If you can wait until Wednesday, I will measure the jig in my loft and post the dimensions.
