NoShitThereIWas 0 #1 June 10, 2004 What's yours? Some of you may be too young, but I grew up in the late 70s and early 80s and sometimes I miss hearing the music I grew up with. Some don't appreciate the music of the "disco era" in the late 70s but I still do. I still love listening to the Bee Gees, ELO, Donna Summer, Fleetwood Mac and Styx. What were your favorite tunes?Roy Bacon: "Elvises, light your fires." Sting: "Be yourself no matter what they say."

Deuce 1 #8 June 11, 2004 Slow dancing to Earth Wind & Fire with Celeste something-or-other in the late 70's. If you haven't slow-danced with a braless Catholic girl under supervision who was wearing a satin dress while you were wearing a polyester muscle shirt you simply haven't lived. Silvia something-or-other was astounding in that regard, too. GirlFallDown is a good dancer, too. But she was probably in about 4th grade at the time, and the Brothers of the Holy Cross frowned on that. (Consider the child molester jokes as having been told...)
