skybytch 273 #1 June 13, 2004 Yeah, a bit early but I'm not jumping again this weekend... In case you've forgotten, or maybe you never knew, here is... - The Weekend Numbers Format - Humps (or other significant number from your weekend): Jumps (how many times you left an airplane in flight during the weekend): Beer (how many cases you owe for firsts done over the weekend) 80% + humidity:2:1 1/4 Yeah it's hot, but at least it's a wet heat. Two four ways - the genesis of Sebastian XS . We wanted to do three jumps but ended up spending too much time on organizational stuff. I learned that I have a lot to learn about doing four way - this is gonna be fun One case owed for our first jump as a team. One sixpack owed for creeper repairs/refurbishing. eeneR 3 #4 June 13, 2004 Well my weekend is done as well..... 30/2:3:0 30 drunk skydivers and 2 bad comedians!!! look out!! What a kick ass weekend....Friday night I get to the DZ to find out there is this Riverboat trip/comedy show thing planned. $20, we get to take a ride down the Illinois River to this Marina where there will be 2 comedians....30 of us hop into the Vans from the DZ, and off to the dock we go!! and yes, they were serving beer Course we are crusing down the river in a metal river boat, in a really funky thunderstorm... We get to this redneck marina bar....ohmigod, the first comedian...sucked, we had way too much fun picking on him....roflmao. The second one started out ok....but then we had to play with him a bit at the end....all of us stock up on beer from the bar (it was cheeper then the boat) and run back to the boat ...and back on the river with the lightning infested sky We managed to stay dry, as the rain subsided while we were going in and out of the marina, and when we got back to the DZ....yes we had DD's!!! till we got to the DZ...then it was drunk skydivers on Golf Carts... NEVER!!! Next morning, wake up, it was suppose to be 87 as the high on Sat....get up, get dressed for that...get to the hanger, it is overcast and Friggen cold...screw that, went back to my trailer, and to bed.... Noon comes, skys clear.....temps go up!!! Jump #1....15 way...woohoo what fun...we get 3 points... Jump #2!!! my 300th!!! 14 way only made the first 2 points on that one, course the second point was an interesting looking one....some people said it looked like a lobster, and well the others took it to the gutter!!! bawahahaha.... Jump #3 a kick ass 18 way!!!! yeehaw...i was 16th out the door....had probably one of my best swoops on a formation yet!!!! holy crap that rocked.....we almost made the 3rd and final point on that one...but we had one glitch in the center... Unfourtunaly on jump #2 i had a hard ass opening...DOH!!! All and all, it was a kick ass weekend!!!! She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto

Helicopter (Allouette II) was awesome. Booties are great. Tracking is sooo fast. Didn't get much time to try turning fast, but they definitely seemed to help. And suddenly I'm falling much faster. I think it's because I'm keeping my lower legs more vertical. But I did two RW jumps with no weight on today and did fine. Haven't jumped without weights in a long time. The neptune is cool. Wore it on the hand mount to play with it, but i'll probably use it as an audible in the future. So far I really like it, but there are a couple changes in the software I'd like to see (for example showing total freefall time at each jump so it's easier to log). My 200th was a cool load. Sunset load saturday evening. On the plane was another guy doing his 200th, and one doing his 500th. All just randomly fell on the same load. Wingi and I were also privleged to take up Casie and her friend Kylie for their Rodriguez Brother initiation jumps. We brought two new bumpy brothers into the world, and the world will now never be the same. Casie is now known as 'Porno Gatita', and Kylie is "Puta Loca". The nightlife was definitely non-shabby and many spirits flowed. However, Wingi has been in Utah too long, as evidenced by the fact that he kepy buying Bud Light in cans to drink. *shudder* A trip to the store to pick up some Tequila and some Fat Tire ale was in order.
