2. reserve malfunction
3. main deployment with line twists

6. landing a downplane

I left one out. 8 1/2. Rescue worker stops to hit on the girl waiting at the gate by the field to direct them back to the accident scene instead of coming on back to actually rescue someone.

10. rescue of disabled friend from wildfire in back of suv by untrained personnel with no idea whether we were hurting him worse by moving him
11. volunteer FD can't get the pumper truck to pump water during their rescue of the rescue vehicles stuck in a burning field

The picture of the cop car is . Any video with audio ? the sounds of the tires blowing up etc would be interesting and watching Barney Fife watching in horror as his patrol car go up in flames.

Poor cop lots of paperwork, "You did what to you car". Wonder if the USPA insurance will cover the loss

I've seen the picture so it must be true. The good thing is the jumper didn't get hurt all those other times during the same O shit. I hate snakes, fires, powerlines, double mals etc etc.

He did break his femur on landing.

If you look at the patrol car, that picture is taken from the rear. The landing site is about 25 feet in front of the car's final resting place. It was horrible to have a guy in pain on the ground unable to move, and he could feel the heat and hear the sound of the approaching wildfire. There was a paramedic telling everyone not to move him, and we were like, "Look, we can't just let him burn to death on the ground. Help or get out of the way." He helped.

While all this was going on, I was trying to talk a student down (with the students family sitting outside about 50 feet from me). There is some video of the mal, and the fire(s), none of the snake.

We couldn't make all that up for it not be be true.
