Michele 1 #4 June 15, 2004 I'm having difficulty accessing the site I go to when confirming a quake, so I'd say it was felt rather widely. I did not feel it in the San Fernando Valley... What matters is you're all right. I'll come edit the post when I get accurate info from the USGS site. You hang tight, in the meantime. Quakes are no fun. Michele 1 #10 June 15, 2004 You would think I'd've felt that one, being somewhat close to the epicenter (closer to it than Darcy, at least....hrm....) Well, the site's been linked (thanks, Hookit), so I won't repeat it in my original post. I need to call my brother...he's working a big crane in the Mojave today.... turtlespeed 226 #15 June 15, 2004 Ha - Ha OK, yeah I figured that one out, but does the ground heave UPWARD? Would it affect a swoop? Would it push the air up with it?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

QuoteQuite a jolt for those of us in high rise buildings. . .lol! Even for me...and I am only on the second floor, but things were ROCKIN' N ROLLIN'. It was freaky because these apt. stairs are difficult enough to climb normally, but they would be impossible for me to climb down with the shaking and on crutches. It made me feel pretty helpless...and I NEVER feel that way...
