I'm having difficulty accessing the site I go to when confirming a quake, so I'd say it was felt rather widely.

I did not feel it in the San Fernando Valley...

What matters is you're all right. I'll come edit the post when I get accurate info from the USGS site. You hang tight, in the meantime. Quakes are no fun.

You would think I'd've felt that one, being somewhat close to the epicenter (closer to it than Darcy, at least....hrm....)

Well, the site's been linked (thanks, Hookit), so I won't repeat it in my original post.

I need to call my brother...he's working a big crane in the Mojave today....

I've been trying to do that every since I began skydiving. I'm doing my part and jumping, the damn earth clams up and won't shake when I land.

Research continues.

Ha - Ha

OK, yeah I figured that one out, but does the ground heave UPWARD?

Would it affect a swoop? Would it push the air up with it?

Okay, the one I probably felt happened a minute earlier off the coast of Rosarito, Mexico. . .it was a 5.1. . .Quite a jolt for those of us in high rise buildings. . .lol!

Even for me...and I am only on the second floor, but things were ROCKIN' N ROLLIN'. It was freaky because these apt. stairs are difficult enough to climb normally, but they would be impossible for me to climb down with the shaking and on crutches. It made me feel pretty helpless...and I NEVER feel that way...:|

Someone on here was in a plane when an Earthquake was happening, Billvon maybe???

anyways, IIRC, they said it looked like waves were rolling thru, kinda like how as kids, you'd take an old parachute n shake it
