SkyAnt 0 #1 June 18, 2004 I just had a short holiday and spent the last few days at a boogie. I left wishing I had spent my whole holiday there. It got me thinking, and I was just flicking through the dropzone directory and I noticed all the DZ's I didn't know existed, in a number of countries I have visited in years gone by. I thought to myself.... Man what a good time I could have had if I had jumped all those places instead of doing the normal tourist/backpacker things. But then that would mean jumping by day, and listening to the same stories over a few too many beers by the fire. Mmmm Sounds absolutely horrible. NOT!!! thoughts, feelings? Bosveld 0 #2 June 18, 2004 I haven't been to all the dropzones in our country (South Africa) yet. But I've been to a few. And I've made a lot of skydiving friends from other clubs at boogies and the National Championships etc. And one thing I've learned is that skydivers everywhere are the same. We are all like one BIG happy family. If I win the national lottery I'd go overseas and try and visit all the dropzones in the world before I die.
