PhillyKev 0 #1 June 21, 2004 I'm hoping it's just the language barrier, but this Norwegian company is considering doing business with us, and as part of their RFP have asked the following: What enhancements are you contemplating for firm wide software over the next year? I began writing. "Upgrades, duh!", but think they might be looking for something else.

PhillyKev 0 #8 June 21, 2004 Quotejust elaborate on what the upgrades are going to add/enhance That's the point. We don't have any upgrades planned. If a new version of software comes out, or we discover some new need, then I evaluate it. I only have 30 machines to take care of. Only takes me a couple weeks to evaluate, test, pilot, and roll out an upgrade.
wmw999 2,602 #9 June 21, 2004 I think they're just concerned that you're going to hose them with some sort of incompatible system. Tell them you're giving up on PCs, and getting a mainframe. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence.
