Quick...need bullshit answer for bullshit question.

I'm hoping it's just the language barrier, but this Norwegian company is considering doing business with us, and as part of their RFP have asked the following:

What enhancements are you contemplating for firm wide software over the next year?

I began writing. "Upgrades, duh!", but think they might be looking for something else. :S

just elaborate on what the upgrades are going to add/enhance

That's the point. We don't have any upgrades planned. If a new version of software comes out, or we discover some new need, then I evaluate it. I only have 30 machines to take care of. Only takes me a couple weeks to evaluate, test, pilot, and roll out an upgrade.

I think they're just concerned that you're going to hose them with some sort of incompatible system. Tell them you're giving up on PCs, and getting a mainframe.

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)
