Well, folk, as of this evening, we are at 95% of the goal; seeing as there are some checks supposedly on the way, I feel it is time for me to put an end to my whining, begging and pleading.

Some have asked me if they may make a contribution once they get to WFFC and to them (and all of you) I say "Sure!". Just because we meet the goal does not mean that the job is done -- it seems there is always something else we need. The link will stay active also, funds left over from WFFC will go toward next year's tent, whether I shepherd it or not.

Any contribution will be gladly accepted and put to good use be it money, jump tickets, items for the tent (Wingnut's loan of a huge tarp, for example), beer (but only if it is real beer -- aw hell, who am I kidding, free beer is good beer)

All I really ask is that you use the tent; meet new/old friends there, chill out a bit, chill a lot, use the wireless to check up on dropzone.com™ and keep the unfortunates up to date, etc. Seeing the tent being utilized is the way I really enjoy it.

Thanks again to all those who have made contributions, and double thanks to those who contributed and aren't even going to be able to attend. I wish you could be there to join us in nig-noggery, but rest assured your help is appreciated; maybe next year.
