efs4ever 3 #5 June 27, 2004 Wellll, lets see: First, amidst storms all over the area, we had a nice bubble of good air. THEN Uncle shows up and wants to inspect DA PLANE. Finds some nit picky chit to fix, and we spend the next four hours of the GOOD weather waiting for the repairs. THEN Noah's flood II comes. THEN the plane GETS STUCK... Russell M. dbattman 0 #6 June 27, 2004 Ah, the C-182 exits. How I love them. You jump turbines for a long time, and it feels great to hit a small DZ. Those guys are creative. When that's all you've got you figure out how to launch all kinds of cool stuff off the strut. Great pics.
Stacy 0 #7 June 27, 2004 Excellent. I went to a bachelorette party/shower for a friend I've known since I was 3. no jumping, but sort of reviatlizing. __

wingnut 0 #9 June 27, 2004 my day rocked!!!!!!! did three tandem video's of three cute girls and then did a demo jump over/beside a city wide party and then got front row seats to the fireworks.... even got a cool blanket from the city fire dept for doing the demo.... almost ran over a firefighter though, well he thought so even though i was about 10 feet from him, the video is pricless he thinks i'm to close and starts to run backwards and trips and falls... noinjury but funny as hell i'm dropingoff a copy to the firehouse thatis a block from my house thathe works at............ ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"
mirochristie 0 #10 June 27, 2004 Quote When that's all you've got you figure out how to launch all kinds of cool stuff off the strut. Well, ... that`s all we`ve got in Puerto Rico. I`ve been jumping Cessna182`s for a few years now! I`m not used to bigger planes, but we do get them once a year for a whole week!(local boogie in Feb). So when those planes get here, it`s funny to see locals trying to exit from a Skyvan or Otter (that they haven`t seen before). But I`ve had the oportunity to attend wffc for 2 years now, and believe me... I love the planes!! Small Dz`s are great also because you develop a sense of family among your skydivers friendsLiquidSky @(^_^)@
mirochristie 0 #11 June 27, 2004 WOW!, cool rainbow pic Have you jumped over one? I mean, it seems like a circle from the plane, right?! I love to watch my shadow on a cloud!... Ah!,... I love what we do! It`s awesome! Yesterday, when I was on final approach, coming straight in, a bunch of birds gathered up and decided to leave the spot for me to land. It was freaking great to see birds flying *under me*, not over my head I get all emotional when this incredible things of nature occur during a skydiveLiquidSky @(^_^)@
cocheese 0 #12 June 27, 2004 Close encounters of the BIRD kind... are so cool under canopy. I've rarely had the birds up close. Bet they think "oh shit, here comes the BIG bird."

dbattman 0 #15 June 28, 2004 Yeah, they're still great. I spent my first season jumping 182s in 95+ Texas heat. I went back a month ago and launched a perfect hybrid off the strut. Noice. That's a nice sit train exit- rodeos are great off the 182 as well. The 182 is still the workhorse of the sport, and still tons of fun.

mirochristie 0 #19 June 28, 2004 Yeah!... they are! 182`s rock! haha! Thanx for the comments on the skydives. From Cessnas182 we can make almost any exit work. ALMOST. Usually, for a tracking dive the leader would hang from underneith the strut and the rest of the gang stand on the step facing the leader. It`s also a great spot to shoot video of exits!LiquidSky @(^_^)@
