sangiro 26 #1 June 26, 2004 Heya all, Fields in the profile that asks for numbers only will in future accept numbers only. Entries like "not enough" in the jump numbers really doesn't help much. If you have characters other than numbers in these fields you will be required to change that when you update your profile next time. You can leave it blank or tell it as it is. (or not, and be called on it!) Have fun! Safe swoops Sangiro

Kennedy 0 #4 June 28, 2004 So do + < and > count as numbers? otherwise, sunnyone, well... witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*
AggieDave 6 #5 June 28, 2004 I'm not a big fan of the "not enough" or the < > stuff, but the + isn't too bad IMHO (obviously, huh?) What I'm saying is I have between 1100 and 1200 jumps, the fact I have 1152 jumps doesn't matter and I only have to update my profile every couple of weeks.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Kennedy 0 #6 June 28, 2004 Well, I just updates my years in sport, because it's not "less than" anymore, and it is kinda pointless to worry about a month here and there. However, while "plus" is numeric, it's not a number. Don't update your profile if you want is to stay there. Just an FYI. I'm off to bed. Maybe I can count the sheeple I dealt with today to fall asleep ps - yeah, I'm just missing that extra "one," yeah, that's it. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*
sunshine 2 #7 June 28, 2004 Quotebut the + isn't too bad IMHO Yeah, i think saying i have 800+ is easier than updating every time i jump. When i get to 850, then i'll prolly update it. But when someone says "never enough" you have no clue what their experience is. When i see that in the profile, i pretty much don't care what they have to say. I assume they have hardly any jumps and don't know wtf they're talking about. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! Harksaw 0 #8 June 28, 2004 How about allowing a decimal point for "Years In Sport"? Edit: On second thought, maybe it is allowed, but you can't put down 1.5 because it only allows 2 characters.__________________________________________________ I started skydiving for the money and the chicks. shropshire 0 #9 June 28, 2004 How about ....... If we could enter the date of our first Jump, the system could work out how long we had been playing ... Then we wouldn't need to update the Years In Sport field (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome

Kennedy 0 #13 June 29, 2004 Relax man, I don't know how closely HH can monitor the forums, even his own threads, that's why I make it a point to reply to whomever I am directing the post to. He replied to me. Remember folks, if you like me, I'm the best friend you ever had, if you don't I'm the biggest nastiest evilest son of a bitch you'll ever meet. Sweet dreams.
