skydiver604 0 #1 March 19, 2010 Bought a used Pro Track that had a badly scratched face, took it to a local watch repair specialist to see if it could have the scratches polished out. The repairman used the same process he uses on digital watches and assured me that the polishing process does not raise the temperature of the unit any more than 100 degrees f or 37 degrees c. Got it back today with about 95% of the scratches removed, the guy did an awesome job and only cost $30.00 Can. Edit: the white fuzzies are from the packing material from the jewellers box that I forgot tp wipe off. NWFlyer 2 #2 March 19, 2010 Probably coulda sent it to L&B and they would have sent a free replacement. "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. kallend 2,150 #10 March 22, 2010 Now put it in an external mount like cool kids with mad skilz and get it all scratched up some more. Mine - I put in an internal pocket in the helmet liner. No scratches in 5 years of use.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
