Looking for office art

Okay, guys and gals. I'm moving into a new office, and the walls are bare.

I'm looking for some art. i'm interested in a musical theme. I've found a couple of artists that I really enjoy, like Clifford Bailey (I swear, I'm getting one or two of his pieces) and Emanuel Mattini.

Do any of you others know of any other artists who liek this genre? Or, anyone know of any other artists that are pretty good?

I have some children's art on the walls where I work...to tell you the truth, I have never seen a tiger with 5 legs before, but it could happen......I would definitely say that we are going for a jungle scene...Just hang a bunch of monkeys from your ceiling and have some kids make you some pictures...then call it a day...

Kelly rocks, and her work has mass appeal - maybe not zen-like meditate-for-relaxation-before-lawyer-robs-me blind kinda stuff - but really cerebral...

Have you thought of local artist? Then you could actually sell their art for a small fee of course.

find some m.c.escher prints. i can stare at those things for hours... the demotivators are good for a laugh too, because most people won't even read them.

Word! Kelly did a dropzone.com piece for the Holiday Boogie. The painting hangs on the wall in the hallway near manifest. Kikosworld is artwork done by Omar Alhegelan and is selling like hot cakes in Europe.

In an abstract sort of way I kinda like a Mallorcan artist - Joan Miro.

In Sarasota, Fl, they have a couple of annual street fairs (3 or 4 blocks long) where local artists display their wares.

Go to your local version of that and buy some stuff that you like for 1/10th the cost. Strike up a conversation with some of them. They may have a similar group of paintings that aren't on display.

You can pick up a painting for $300 and tell people you spent $5K on it. Nobody knows the difference, that's what the artists tell me.
