QuoteYou obviously did not have to field the calls to any small or large DZ after the release of Point Break or the Coke commercial etc.......Talk about funny.....
Mike
I don't know the Coke commercial, but after Point Break, did you get people thinking they'd be able to talk back and forth during RW?

C'mon, don't take my criticism to mean that I don't do just that. I happened to be on here while I was watching t.v. and saw the commercial for the first and so far only time.
I was out jumping just this afternoon, actually. It was a REALLY good day for me. Came home and made a delicious meat loaf, too!

I hope it really chaffes your ass to know that my wife and I thought the commercial was so funny, we ran out last week and signed up, plus we bought two phones.
Yay number portability!

dude that commercial is hillarious and if anything it has more people talking bout skydiving and most of the tandems that have come in lately have seen it and are asking if its possible, to which I kindly reply, you better be nice now huh...

Hmm. Not being a TM, I was simply viewing the commercial about a day after someone at our DZ had been showing a student the fact that he would NOT be able to release the student while under canopy because the student's weight would keep him in the clips. That's what I was basing my criticism of the commercial on. The student was hanging in the harness along with the TM, and the TM just cut him away... I just think it's not good PR for people who may be a bit nervous about just that subject: accidentally falling from the nice instructor man who has the parachute.
