scottbre 0 #1 July 7, 2004 So what's the deal, do I have to do anything special in order to set up a tent in Tent City, or is it basically just "put it whereever you can find a spot"? I ask because I know that getting one of the RV spots with water and electricity costs money, but can't find anything specifically referencing any procedures for if someone just wants to set up a tent. skybytch 273 #3 July 7, 2004 Put it wherever you can find a spot. Some of us are getting there on Thursday. We'll be "reserving" a good sized area next to the dz.com tent for dz.commer's. I wouldn't recommend that area if late night noise/partying bothers you though - there's a "quieter" camping area between the swoop pond and the gate to the RV park if your night time plans include more sleeping than partying. cocheese 0 #5 July 8, 2004 Yep spots are limited in the main tent area. Try to find your friends and squeeze in somewhere. Or like everyone said, the quiet area has lots of room. Getting there at night will be tricky to set up a spot. Sleeping is hard to do at the convention.Plan a day of recovery into your trip just in case.
