skydyvr 0 #3 July 5, 2004 QuoteThe accompanying art is just tiny, boring photos of folks in jumpsuits against a background of blue. sangiro 26 #8 July 5, 2004 I hold Mike McGowan responsible for taking those "boring photos of folks in jumpsuits against a background of blue." More of his utterly boring work can be seen here. Safe swoops Sangiro

ryoder 1,590 #10 July 5, 2004 Quote I personally love this part: QuoteThe accompanying art is just tiny, boring photos of folks in jumpsuits against a background of blue. Simple solution: Point these folks to the avatar of RoysPlayThing, or the photos of JumpWally's wife."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones. happythoughts 0 #19 July 5, 2004 QuoteThe accompanying art is just tiny, boring photos of folks in jumpsuits against a background of blue. LOL In the opinion of this reviewer, the value of the opinion of that reviewer is... squat. Someone goes to a skydiving website and sees pictures of skydiving. Who woulda thunk it? About two weeks ago, a writer from the St. Pete Times came out to the dz and did a tandem. A couple of the guys docked on the tandem. Also recently, there was a reporter from the local tv station doing a story on the "old people doing stuff" angle after Bush Sr. did his latest jump. She did a tandem also. freeflir29 0 #21 July 5, 2004 Wow....made it onto the Forbes list but......does this site even come close to paying for itself yet? Amazing........
happythoughts 0 #22 July 5, 2004 The writer was qualified to judge the website, but I think Mike knows a little more about what makes a good skydiving photo. Besides, I never let subset-of-a-set type stuff, or logic, interfere with my opinions. I'm just trying to share my feelings. M. Forbes used to keep a boat down in Miami near the dive boat docks. Well maintained, but it looked like he bought the paint at a yard sale. "Hey, I got this great deal on dark green paint for the trim on the sailboat." PLFKING 4 #24 July 5, 2004 Is this the first time you've gotten national recognition from an entity unrelated to skydiving ? Well-deserved and overdue kudos, sir.
