anyone jump at Above the Poconos?

Recommended Posts

Not sure if I can help you, but I jumped there about 6 years ago and it was pretty decent then. They had a 206 at that time. not sure what they have now. Anyway, the coolest part of that place is when you get to altitude, (*On a clear day or night jump) you can see the skyline of NYC. Other than that, I am sorry to not have any up to date info.
Unknowing attempting to take out all 4 wheeled vehicles remotely close to the landing area!

Brian,

Above the Poconos is one of the best Cessna DZ's I've come across. They've got a 185 & 182, both of which have 300 HP engines, plus a stock 180 that's a solid aircraft too. They're good folks, I really enjoy jumping there. PM me if you need any more info, I'd be happy to hook you up.

Hey Brian!

Above the Poconos is a great place! I finished my aff there and I couldnt have asked for anything better. The people there are great and its a fun place! Don and Darlene Kellner run a great dz! The distance from NYC isnt too too bad either....its actually not too much further than the ranch...

PM me anytime for any other info:)

I'll definitely make it up there at least once this summer. My friend lives about an hour from there. I've herad some nice things about them so I figure, go check out some new scenery an d meet some new people.

Now I just have to wait for this finger to heal up.

Are there other DZs where you can see the NYC skyline? That's something I want to put on my list.
I like clear days at Crosskeys when you can see Philly and Atlantic City.
