TheAnvil 0 #1 July 8, 2004 The San Fermin festival is on over in Pamplona. I've always wanted to run with the bulls. I figure since I'm short, the bulls would probably run right over me if I didn't run fast enough. ClickyVinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!! rocketfeuille 0 #12 July 8, 2004 QuoteMy buddy took this amazing shot shortly before undergoing surgery... Actually, that shot was taken by an Associated Press photographer. He wrapped his camera with several layers of bubble wrap and left it in the street. When the bulls came through, he triggered the shutter with a remote. No one was injured. CornishChris 5 #13 July 8, 2004 I have a few friends who have run with the bulls. Apparently one of them was so far ahead of them that he never even saw a bull until they got into the stadium at the end. What they then do is when everyone has made it to the stadium they let the bulls in one by one for a laugh. Andy didn't know this... He only got gored a bit and lived to tell the tale but the description of him frozen in fear as a bull appears from nowhere was highly amusing. So yep, when I get back to Europe I will definately be off to Pamplona for the Bull Running. On the other hand if it's stupid Spanish Festivals you want then it doesn't get any stupider than "La Tomatina" - the worlds largest vegetable fight... CJP Gods don't kill people. bch7773 0 #20 July 9, 2004 hahaha, but seriously, one of my friends ran with the bulls a few years ago, and she got gored pretty good in the knee. it made all the papers in the US. I would do it, but i would run right alongside the wall they put up, and hop over when the bulls got too close for comfort. MB 3528, RB 1182

happythoughts 0 #24 July 9, 2004 QuoteHELL NO. I've been chased by a bull once and never want to do that again. When they get the nubby starts of horns, they get real irritated if you grab them and wrestle with them. Got chased up the side of a cattle feeder learning that lesson. He broke a 2x4 when he slammed into the side.
